This position will report directly to the CISO and perform penetration tests in accordance with industry-accepted methods and protocols.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performing network-based security assessments<\/li>\n<li>Performing security assessments on Internet-facing applications<\/li>\n<li>Performing security assessments on software applications<\/li>\n<li>Performing penetration tests across public networks<\/li>\n<li>Performing penetration tests across internal networks<\/li>\n<li>Performing penetration tests across IoT networks<\/li>\n<li>Cloud Service penetration testing (AWS \/ Azure \/ GCP)<\/li>\n<li>Performing AI models assessments<\/li>\n<li>Performing OSINT assessments<\/li>\n<li>Performing assessments of wireless networks<\/li>\n<li>Performing assessments of physical security using social engineering<\/li>\n<li>Working as a team member on a large audit engagement to perform technical software and environment testing<\/li>\n<li>Performing security consultation projects to assist clients implement security controls<\/li>\n<li>Developing testing scripts and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide security training to development teams<\/li>\n<li>Support leading the penetration testing team and services<\/li>\n<li>Other security related projects that may be assigned according to skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding and familiarity in applying common penetration testing methods and standards<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of work experience performing internal, external, web applications and mobile applications penetration tests<\/li>\n<li>Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel to clients sites (For Auckland-based applicants)<\/li>\n<li>Organise project or job into tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Beneficial Experience and Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethic<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven and motivation to continuously improve skillset<\/li>\n<li>Degree in computer science or information technology<\/li>\n<li>Certifications within Information Technology or Information Security<\/li>\n<li>Competency in common operating systems (e.g. Windows, macOS, Linux)<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with at multiple scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of cloud computing models, technologies and concepts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note: This is an Auckland-based role but remote applicants are welcome to apply (preferably within the same time zone as New Zealand)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learn more about AMARU <a href=\"https:\/\/amaru.co.nz\/fj\/company\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-857","career","type-career","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/amaru.co.nz\/fj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/career\/857","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/amaru.co.nz\/fj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/career"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/amaru.co.nz\/fj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/career"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/amaru.co.nz\/fj\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=857"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
